What is Remote Deposit Anywhere?

Remote Deposit Anywhere (RDA) is a mobile application that allows members to deposit checks via their mobile device.

Who is eligible for RDA?

You must meet these qualifications:

  • At least 19 years old
  • Have online banking set up
  • Accounts must be more than 35 days old
  • No bankruptcies, levies, or garnishments on the account
  • No negative activity for more than 32 days


How do I get Remote Deposit Anywhere?

Download the mobile banking app.

If you meet the qualifications for RDA and do not see the RDA feature turned on contact us.

What does Remote Deposit Anywhere cost?

Mobile banking is a free app. However, standard wireless carrier data fees and charges apply.

How do I deposit a check using RDA?

  • Login to the mobile banking app
  • Select the remote deposit button
  • Click the Deposit a Check banner
  • Snap a picture of the entire front of the check
  • Snap a picture of the entire back of the endorsed check
  • Enter the check amount
  • Choose which account to credit
  • Click Deposit in the navy banner
  • Click Cancel if you no longer wish to deposit the check via RDA

How many checks can I deposit using RDA?

The limit of checks and the amount of money you can deposit using RDA depends on the number of services that you carry with the credit union. The more services that you use the higher your daily limits, and  number of checks that you can deposit daily. If these limits do not meet your current needs, please contact us.

  • Checking Account Only:
    • 5 checks per day with a daily limit of $100 or
    • 10 checks per month with a monthly limit of $500
  • Checking Account plus Direct Deposit or Loan:
    • 5 checks per day with a daily limit of $1,000 or
    • 20 checks per month with a monthly limit of $2,000
  • Checking Account plus Direct Deposit and Loan:
    • 10 checks per day with a daily limit of $3,000 or
    • 20 checks per month with a monthly limit of $10,000

How do I review RDA deposits?

Login to the mobile banking app. Select Remote Deposit then click the Review Deposits banner.

How do I endorse my check?

Sign your name and print, “For mobile deposit only,” in the endorsement section on the back of the check.

What do I do with the actual check?

You are required to keep the check for 14 business days. After 14 business days you should destroy the check.

How do I know the status of my RDA deposit?

You will receive an email notifying you if the transaction is in progress or if it was rejected. If you have exceeded your deposit limit you will receive a notice immediately. If there is an issue with the deposit or deposit limits, you should contact us.

 

When will the deposit credit my account?

RDA checks will be deposited daily on any business day at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

  • Checks received before 10:00 a.m. will be credited by 10:30 a.m.*
  • Checks received after 10:00 a.m. and before 3:00 p.m. will be credited by 3:30 p.m.*
  • Checks received after 3:00 p.m. will be credited by 10:30 a.m. the next day. *

(*Checks will be credited at the designated time unless there is an issue with the deposit. If there is an issue, the member should contact us.)
